DAVE MEREDITH

Over the past 4-5 years Dave has grown ever stronger with his music producing and recording songs via the internet. In that time he has met and worked with some really great talent and met some fantastic people who have become good friends and also artists that have an understanding of how music and songs work. 

I feel i have moved on so much in what seems like a short time. All i want to do is record music and work on songs as much as i can, sitting and working on music for 10 hours + a day has been part of my life over the past few years. Once i get on a role i cant stop and i love to record and build my quality and recording style.

Music for me is right from the soul. I sit down with my set up and just play and produce to my hearts content. All styles of music i try to record and many a piece's of music end up on the hard disc and never get used again. Trial and error and learning is something thats ever increasing with music producing and recording. Some days you feel yourself bring something new to your recording style and you feel you have moved forward another step in music recording, that little something that makes your own music sound that little bit better than before. It could be a new effect thats added to a sound or maybe its extra clarity in the overall music productions, either way these things make a big difference on a producer long road to getting that solid sound that people like to and want to hear.

Meeting Carla and having the song Innocence Falls recorded in a studio was a big highlight for me. Carla is so cool to work with and her husband Wes has great input in the songs we have recorded whether its vocal input or work on mastering sounds. Having IF played on the radio was awesome and to be the title song of Carla's own album was something special and somethng to be proud of for many reasons.

Signing for Melodrift was an easy step for me to take. The work that Carla and Wes do to offer me the use of this site and the help they give is second to none and i really appreciate all that they have done for me .

NEW PROJECTS FOR 06:

Many new projects are in the works for this year.

SWURVE:

A project with Tim Tucker. Swurve is a mix of Soul/Smooth/Urban/R&B/Funk/Pop that features the music of Dave Meredith and the Vocals of a good friend and singer Tim Tucker. We hope to have the project ready on CD in the next 3 months. Very excited about this new project.

Union Jacket (English)

An online band. Dave Meredith,Alex O Borges,Jose Valentin and Jaime Vasquez form this band and together we are working on and have recorded many songs. Alex is a good friend and was once signed to a spanish label. We have songs recorded in Spanish and English from the past couple of years but this year the new English project should be ready and complete with press pack and Bio's and ready to be sent out as Demo's.

Shadow Al/Melissa (SPW)

Alex and Mel again like above are good friend who i have met and worked with through music. We have recorded many types of Rap songs and Vocal (R&B) songs. Alex has a very unique rap style and ability to write lyrics and flow to music. Melissa is a cool vocalist with a good tilt towards R&B and Alex's sister is a really strong singer who has a history of Gospel and general singing. 

We have completed songs that have been online but this year Alex hopes to have his own album ready and this album will feature alot of Dave Merediths productions.

Sonneman/Mezzer: Many many songs myself and Brian have written and recorded and some of these songs are some of my favourite to date. Unique vocals from Brian. Strong,gritty, yet at times soft and heartfelt. Brian knows how to implement vocals and melodies into the right music and quality and clarity is a big plus when working with Brian. Brian also has the help of guitarist Matt Hone who can play the guitar with so much quality, whether its solo's or riffs, melodies or effects, this guy ROCKS the music. Im sure that myself and Brian will have a few more songs in us over the coming months.

These are the major projects i am working on but i also write and record my own soundtracks and at times record the off one off song with artists. I also hope to be working with Carla and Wes again in the future.
