Elija Bossenbroek was born and raised in Grand Rapids MI and joined the Marine Corps at age eighteen. During this period of his life within the marines he travelled widely, living in Mississippi, Japan, California and Kuwait before finally settling in Michigan with his beautiful wife Kate and son Kilian.

Of his music career he explains, "I started playing the piano at age six and was never a very good piano student. I hated reading notes and playing to a metronome so I was always just an average sort of piano player. It wasn't until I reached the age of fourteen that I started coming up with my own music. It was at this age that I began composing my own melodies. It all started with a simple version of song number seven from my album called 'Humble Beginnings' and every year it began to become more and more complex. Finally I felt that it was time to put my album out."

Recently Elijah cut an album of eleven beautiful songs, and is making waves with his music in various parts of the world, touching souls with the sheer strength of his music.

Elijah bought a home recording studio and in 2004 he released his first album, "Harmony In Disarray". Since then he has been performing live shows and promoting his album as far and wide as possible. Take a listen to some of Elijah's music and you will be astounded by the natural talent he exudes. The notes glide effortlessly and beautifully under Elijah's hands with ease. He maintains a natural flow and precision in his playing, portraying a skill which is noticeable within just the very first few notes.

The keyboard even joined me in the deserts of Kuwait when I was shipped out to fight in Operation Enduring Iraqi Freedom.
