After a tempestuous period of moving from one country to another we strived to keep the website alive (if not kicking) throughout the process. However we are back fully and happy to answer your musical queries, listen to your tracks and above all hope that you enjoy our music, plus the many articles and helpful advice available on this site.

Sonneman's LATEST Album Now Available

Artist Brian Sonneman recently recorded a top quality CD at Worlds Apart Productions,London, which is available for sale by Melodrift Productions and also further online distribution.

The album features twelve great tracks with Sonneman's own unique vocal style, and includes the very popular track 'Capricorn'. Dave Meredith also provided some of his fabulous beats as well as Matt Hone's competent guitar additions. Artist Carla also lends a few vocals to a couple of tracks on the album.

Elijah Bossenbroek is a talented pianist from Grand Rapids US, and has joined Melodrift Productions this month. Elijah has perfected his skills since a young child and is now proudly achieving many things including recent offers for his music to be featured in movies. You can hear clips of his music taken from his album 'Harmony in Disarray' within our music page and read about Elijah's career to date.

Pacific, a four piece band from Manchester join Melodrift Productions this year. In the vein of Dylan, U2, Coldplay we invite you to take a listen and read about this up and coming band.

Third Annual Acoustic Live talent Competition

TLAMS Entertainment Services is now taking submissions for the Third Annual Acoustic Live talent series, an "acoustic" battle of the bands / songwriting competition, presented by the LAmusicScene.com. 42 artists will be chosen by a submission panel of industry professionals to take part in the Acoustic Live competition. Industry professional judges will advance artists to the final Acoustic Live showcase, for a chance to win great prizes provided by Acoustic Live sponsors.

Submissions are being accepted now through August 1st. Artists are encouraged to review official rules before submitting. Acoustic Live is open to all genres of music, artists and bands alike; submissions do not need to be acoustic. Submissions are $15 dollars and will be accepted via www.acousticlive.net and www.sonicbids.com or for more information please email acousticlive@hotmail.com

Our Top Ten indie artists summer 2004 are revealed. All very well deserved and congratulations from Melodrift! Nearly all the entries were stunning so well done to all of you who entered, we have been enlightened by so many talented bands and musicians out there. Please take the time to read and listen to these brilliant musicians, and don't forget to drop a message in our guestbook congratulating them or send them a message on their contact pages.

HELP THE CHILDREN IN NEED

Part of the aim and goal of Melodrift Productions is to help seek awareness, and support charities involving children afflicted with terrible illnesses and debilitating diseases. Dying children need us to recognise their pain and we need to give them our support and show that we care. A member and supporter of a children's charity herself, this topic is very much close to Carla's heart, and she is actively becoming involved in setting up functions for these causes. Part of the proceeds of 'Innocence Falls', Carla's debut album, will be sent towards charities that work towards finding cures for these terrible illnesses and to help children suffer less. Her album was dedicated to children, and she wishes to continue to work in this area.

If anyone would like to contribute just a few CD's of theirs towards helping the sick children, please contact us. We will happily raise awareness and your music will not only receive more exposure, you will also be contributing towards a very valuable cause. You needn't worry if you don't have a professionally produced CD, you can burn a few copies of your own music to help the children. Thank you for your support!!

INNOCENCE CLIMBS!!!

Carla's debut album 'Innocence Falls' released as a Melodrift Production, exploded on to the scene late May, and has just about caused a stir everywhere. The album is being played in Bars, Cars, Restaurants, Clubs, Radio Stations, received Press Releases, Magazine Interviews, as well as shooting out of record stores and online sales.

As well as already hitting a Radio 1 station, rumour has it that it may very soon blow some sonic dust over more than 1 Million Radio Listeners in the UK, thanks to a well known Radio Station!
