Worldwide Licensing Deal For 'Swurvz'

Swurve have recently signed a worldwide licensing deal with their debut album 'That's The Way.'

Nine smooth rhythm and blues tracks will soon be made available for online digital download, including the title track for the album "That's The Way."

The deal was signed in January 2007, pushing Swurve's music to greater limits and setting the boys on a new path of creative discovery. The first deal to hit the virtual realm will be having their tracks available for sale on the ever popular Myspace website. Their tracks will also be made available worldwide for ringtone, podcast, blogger, music stores, mobile, radio and media sources.Â

'Swurve' is a name that was born a good year or more after Dave Meredith and Tim Tucker started recording songs together.

Tim is from California and Dave is from Witney (near oxford) in the UK. The duo have recorded songs for the past two years, exchanging their ideas online.

Tim was trained as a vocalist from a very young age from a pro level teacher. He has also sung live in many bands in his home town of California. Whilst recording a studio album in his younger years, he was offered a contract with Capital records but declined the offer as they wanted him to join a boy band and take away any creative ideas he may have wanted to have and use.

Dave met Tim online via a music website, and offered up some music, which Tim immediately loved. He took it away, sang to it and sent it back. The song was called"Unwanted". From then on the duo progressed, working together solidly to form Swurve.

Dave says of their partnership, "We have become great friends who have respect for each others work and know what we like to record and how to record. We continue to suprise each other with our work and 90% of our feedback has been very positive."

Dave, singularly known as Worlds Apart Productions, composes and records the music by programming keyboards, guitar and drums, whilst Tim writes the lyrics and records vocals.
