Charlie Freeman Releases ‘Reconnection’ EP Ahead of 2025 Album

London-based singer-songwriter Charlie Freeman, also known as FREE/MAN, has released his latest EP, Reconnection. The four-track project highlights Freeman’s signature alt-soul and rock-infused sound, blending elements of ’70s rock, Britpop, and Americana. Clocking in at just over 14 minutes, the EP is a concise but powerful exploration of themes including love, freedom, and spiritual connection.

Critics have already praised Freeman’s work for its emotional honesty and melodic craftsmanship. Indie Buddie called him “instantly swayable and charming with an infectious buoyancy,” while Huffington Post highlighted his music’s “overwhelmingly contagious quality.” Reconnection is seen as a prelude to Freeman’s forthcoming full-length album, Gift in the Shadows, which is expected at the end of 2025.

To coincide with the release, Freeman has announced a world tour covering Europe, the USA, Mexico, and Argentina.
