Daria Mirea’s debut EP June is a quietly captivating reflection on the beauty and melancholy of young adulthood. Across five tracks, Mirea blends folk, soul, and pop with an understated elegance, creating a soundscape that feels both intimate and expansive. Her vocals are warm and confessional, carrying the listener through moments of heartbreak, nostalgia, and self-discovery with remarkable ease.
The EP’s previously released tracks, including “Before It Gets Dark” and “Alright To Be Alone,” showcase Mirea’s lyrical honesty and knack for melody, while the two new songs, “Greenfield Street” and “June Can’t Last Forever,” complete the emotional arc of the project. “Greenfield Street” is a tender, nostalgic look back at formative experiences, and the closing track meditates on impermanence with subtlety and grace, leaving a lingering sense of bittersweet reflection.
Produced by Andy Horjea and arranged alongside guitarist Alex Rigley, June is polished without ever feeling overproduced. It’s a deeply personal EP that simultaneously feels universal, inviting listeners to reflect on their own “June” moments—the fleeting, formative times that shape who we become. With its soulful melodies and heartfelt storytelling, June is a compelling debut that marks Daria Mirea as an artist to watch.
