March, the latest EP from Beirut/Dubai-based jazz and blues singer-songwriter Lulu Leloup is a project that feels as timeless as it is deeply personal. Originally from Beirut and raised in Montreal, Lulu draws from a rich cultural and musical backdrop, shaping a sound that blends vintage elegance with contemporary emotional depth. Her work has become known for its subtle humour and sharp lyrical edge, where heartbreak is not only felt, but quietly observed.

With March, Lulu leans into themes of love, loss, and self-reflection, crafting a collection that feels both intimate and cinematic. Rooted in the textures of 1930s jazz and blues, the EP evokes a sense of nostalgia while remaining grounded in present-day storytelling. Tracks like (If you’re gonna break my heart, would you do it after) March and You Called Me Baby, but Baby You Didn’t Call showcase her ability to balance wit with vulnerability, offering listeners moments that feel achingly honest yet disarmingly light.

"March is a collection of songs about love, heartbreak, and the things we almost left behind," Lulu explains. "The kind of moments that feel both devastating and slightly amusing in the same breath."

What sets Lulu apart is her ability to make emotional complexity feel effortless. Whether reflecting on fleeting romance or the quiet acceptance of endings, her voice carries a warmth and sincerity that lingers. March is not just a collection of songs — it’s a carefully curated emotional landscape, one that invites listeners to sit with their feelings, and perhaps even smile at them.

“Lulu Leloup’s March EP captures the bittersweet duality of heartbreak; poignant yet wry, intimate yet timeless,” shares music publicist Danielle Holian, Decent Music PR. “Each track is a masterclass in storytelling, blending jazz and blues influences with modern emotional insight. It’s the kind of record that makes you feel seen, laugh quietly at life’s ironies, and press replay before it’s even over."
