Norwegian singer-songwriter MARI has released her debut EP, between the lines, a project she describes as her “most personal and fearless work to date.” The EP navigates intense teenage heartbreak, loss of self, and the journey toward strength and self-respect.
MARI’s creative process was deeply introspective. She revisited old wounds and relived formative experiences while writing the EP, stating, “It was tough to relive it all, but at the same time healing. I grew while writing and singing about what I went through.” This raw honesty is central to the record’s emotional resonance.
