Mojo Morgan, founding member of the legendary reggae group Morgan Heritage, has released his most personal project to date: Jamaica Love EP. Born in Brooklyn and raised in Springfield, Massachusetts, Mojo grew up at the crossroads of American ambition and Jamaican culture—a duality that permeates this EP. With Jamaica Love, he steps forward as a solo artist, honoring the musical heritage of his family while forging a sound uniquely his own, a genre he calls “Rasta Rock.”

The heart of the project lies in tracks like Mountain Song, a multigenerational collaboration with his brother Gramps Morgan and his son Esh Morgan. The acoustic-driven anthem blends gospel harmonies with reggae roots, creating a sound that is both intimate and universal. It’s a song that speaks to the power of family, resilience, and love—values Mojo has long championed both on and off the stage.

Featuring collaborations with Popcaan, Sizzla, Chronic Law, Maino, and more, the EP showcases a careful balance of legacy and contemporary energy. Each track tells a story, from spiritual reflection in When The Father Calls to aspirational resolve in Dreams, highlighting Mojo’s ability to navigate multiple genres without losing authenticity.

Jamaica Love EP is more than music; it’s a declaration of purpose. Mojo Morgan has created a collection that resonates with listeners on a personal and cultural level, reaffirming his role as a bridge between past and future, tradition and innovation. In doing so, he reminds the world that reggae’s heartbeat is not just in its rhythms but in its capacity to carry messages of hope, love, and unity.
