The multi platinum vocal group returns this November for 22 festive shows, bringing Christmas favourites, new material and their signature live performances to audiences across the UK.

There are few groups that have made vocal harmony quite as much a part of their identity as The Overtones. Fifteen years into their career, the four piece are preparing to take that sound back on the road with ‘Jivin’ Home For Christmas’, a 22 date UK tour presented by Prestige Productions.

Beginning at Whitley Bay’s Playhouse on 7 November and concluding at Eastbourne’s Congress Theatre on 17 December, the tour promises an evening of Christmas classics, familiar favourites and brand new songs. The group's combination of close harmonies, carefully choreographed performances and good humour has become a fixture of their live shows, and the festive season gives them plenty of room to play to those strengths.

For Jay James, Mike Crawshaw, Mark Franks and Darren Everest, the tour arrives at a significant point in their history. Across 15 years, The Overtones have released six Top 10 albums, achieved multi platinum record sales and completed 15 sold out UK tours. Their appeal has always rested on an ability to make music from another era feel at home in the present, without losing the warmth and character of the original songs.

That approach has taken them well beyond the traditional concert circuit. In 2022, their recording of ‘Celebration’, taken from the number one album 10, accompanied Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee parade. The televised celebrations even captured members of the Royal Family singing and dancing along to the track. Later that year, the group appeared at four knockout matches during the FIFA World Cup, including England's meeting with Senegal, performing to a combined audience of more than 300,000 spectators.

Their wider performance history reads like a tour of landmark venues and national celebrations. The Overtones have appeared at the London Palladium, Royal Albert Hall and Buckingham Palace, where they performed for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee Concert. They have also taken the stage at Berlin's Brandenburg Gate before a crowd of more than one million, with a reported television audience of 15 million.

The group have spent much of 2026 performing. During the summer, they headlined ‘Jukebox Idols’, a 29 date production bringing music and dance together with Strictly Come Dancing professional and five time World Latin and Ballroom Champion Nadiya Bychkova, alongside four time Olympic medallist and former Strictly champion Louis Smith MBE.

There is new music taking shape behind the scenes too. The Overtones are currently working with Grammy and Ivor Novello Award winning songwriter and producer Eliot Kennedy on original material, suggesting that their 15th anniversary is as much about what comes next as it is about looking back.

For now, their attention turns to Christmas. ‘Jivin’ Home For Christmas’ brings the group's familiar blend of nostalgia, vocal precision and lively stagecraft into a show designed for the festive calendar. With 22 performances stretching from early November to the week before Christmas, audiences across the country will have the chance to join the celebrations.
