Award-winning US-based Kenyan Producer, Artist, Composer and Label Owner Waithaka is marking a pivotal milestone in his remarkable 20-year career with the release of his latest R&B and Soul Album, Soul’d Duets.
As a veteran in the music industry, Waithaka’s contributions have resonated both in Kenya and globally, showcasing his deep commitment to creating timeless music that transcends cultural and genre boundaries.
Waithaka’s journey from a novice pianist in the early 2000s to a decorated music producer reflects his tireless dedication to mastering his craft. His extensive work, released under his label, Waithaka Ent, is a testament to his versatility as a producer, blending genres like R&B, soul, African pop, and more. His eclectic catalogue includes notable projects such as his groundbreaking debut album Odes by Queens (2020), the collaborative project BLK2541 (2020), and Moshi (2024), a joint album with Zimbabwean artist MJ Wemoto.
